What would you say about how the program could help someone in minor ways?
People don't have to be on stage like I do, and that's not what it's about. But they do have to speak in meetings. Don't they? You know, you're in a meeting with eight people, and you've got a critical point to say and haven't the confidence to say it, right? We get stories like that all the time. For example, we have changed countless people's confidence in meetings. They have an issue with speaking up in public, going through the program and then having the strategies to go and do it.
We get the action we wanted, and then they sit there wondering what all the fuss was about because now what you've done in that person's head is you have broken a barrier that doesn't just relate directly to confidence or doesn't just relate to speaking up in a meeting because what that lady then starts saying to herself is if I can do that, I can do anything, so people will apply this quickly to something important to them get a breakthrough and then you've almost built a belief in their minds that if I can do that anything's possible, and that's what we want. So that's why these little wins, as you're pointing out here, are so important. Get a little success quickly on something important to you, which might be inconsequential to another person, but it's significant to you, and the floodgates will open, and that's what happens.
